We stayed for the month of January at this beautiful cottage in the lovely, friendly village of Winkleigh. The cottage provided everything we needed for our stay and was lovely and cosy with lots of special touches. Highly recommend the butchers in the village, best meat we have had for a long time. Kings Arms pub in the village serves excellent food in a lovely, friendly environment. For something special recommend eating at the Rams Head in Dolton, small but excellent menu and Nico makes his own beautiful fresh bread daily. Nice central local for access to Dartmoor and only 40 minutes to beaches at Bude, Westwood Ho, Woolacombe etc. Thank you Nicole our stay was perfect.

Nicole, the owner thinks of absolutely everything that you may need during your stay. Spotlessly clean and perfect location walking distance to two fabulous pubs Kings Arms and the Seven Stars. Post office, shop, fantastic butchers all in the square. If you are looking for a few days away in this lovely part of Devon you will not be disappointed .it really is a gem of a place.

Thank you for a lovely weeks stay in your beautiful cottage. The cottage had everything we needed for a warm and comfortable stay and had a very cosy feel to it. We loved the welcome basket on arrival with the homemade scones and other little goodies, it was a lovely touch. We visited lots of lovely places during our stay and would definitely return! X
A wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. We are a family of 3 and spent a glorious week at Higher Primrose. Great local pub with excellent food, long walks on Dartmoor and a few trips to the amazing sandy beaches of North Devon. Nicole's hospitality is second to none! Thank you, thank you, thank you. We will be back!
