~ Cottage Update ~

We are living in strange times my friends, strange times. Here at the cottage your health and safety is paramount. We want everyone that visits during these uncertain times to know that we have taken all the precautions open to us so that you can relax as much as possible and enjoy your stay. A lot of people are re-organising their plans for later in the year which is absolutely understandable, but if you do still wish to come and get away from everything you are more than welcome. You can easily self isolate at the cottage and with Dartmoor & Exmoor both a short drive away you can get out and about without coming into contact with anyone!

Here's some additional things we are doing to make your stay more restful.

- 3 nights either side of your stay the cottage will be vacant & cleaned each day ensuring that no potential virus remains 'live' on any surface (it can live for up to 72 hours on surfaces).

- Agreement with the local pubs that if you wish to have a 'pub meal' you can, without leaving the cottage - your meal will be delivered to you at an agreed time. A quick knock on the door and they will leave it on the bench, a bit like room service I suppose but I'm calling it 'village service'.

- Send through your shopping list at least 3 days in advance and your shopping will all be there ready for your arrival (including toilet roll).

Above all we want you to be safe and our thoughts go out to all those who have been affected.
