January Thoughts...

As the snow starts to fall this morning I'm reminded of how beautiful our part of the world is both in summer and winter. Everything looks bright and fresh. The peaks of Dartmoor have a good dusting of powdery shimmer, and the smell of wood smoke is fills the air.

2021 did not start how we planned, but we are all safe and well and that is the most important thing.

Whilst we are all held in suspension I'm busing myself with plans for the cottage - a mini refurb is in the works for the coming weeks which is keeping me busy.

Hopefully it won't be too long until we can welcome guests once more, but in the meantime, look after yourselves and your families and we hope to see you sometime in 2021.
