Happy New Year everyone! January is traditionally a time when cottage owners potter around doing odd jobs and a bit of an early spring clean. We at Higher Primrose Cottage are no different. This morning, the Christmas decorations are down and I have ordered a new log burner and new bedroom carpet! I know, get me! The cottage log burner has served us well but it is very old and with the wonderful Rangemoors literally on our doorstep I went for a leisurely browse this morning and lo - a new log burner! Next stop was the carpet shop where I ordered a lush new bedroom carpet. All in all a good days shopping and it's only week one of 2020!
