Hard to Believe Another Year Has Passed...

As this year draws to a close I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how our year at the cottage has gone.

For small businesses 2025 has been tough. The cost of everything from washing powder to electricity has more than doubled and in some cases tripled. This has inevitably meant that our prices have had to increase. We have tried where we can to keep cost increases to a minimum for this year and also for next year. I'm not gonna lie, it's not been easy, but what has really spurred us on has been the wonderful reviews and kind comments from all of our lovely guests. It really is a privilege to help create those special holiday memories. Our guests have travelled from all four corners of the UK -  from Brighton to Inverness, Belfast to Swansea. Further afield we have hosted guests from the USA, Canada, The Netherlands, Belgium and Italy.

Who knows what 2026 has in store for us all, but I hope that it will bring lots of laughter and happiness and plenty of time to relax and build more special memories. Thank you to all who have stayed with us in 2025. Hopefully we'll see you again soon.
