February Thoughts...

Already 2022 is shaping up to be a year that is keeping us all on our toes - and its only February! This time last year we were having a new bathroom fitted at the cottage and were in the height of the pandemic, this year the cottage is about to have it's annual refresh and we've just experienced storm Eunice - there really is never a dull moment!

We try to do our utmost to make our guests stay as wonderful as it can be and we are absolutely bowled over by some of the wonderful comments and reviews we've received - thank you thank you thank you :)

For a small village we have a lot going on and our small businesses are thankfully thriving. The lovely Catkin Blooms have expanded and moved to new premises as stones throw from the cottage and now includes not only flowers and eco products but also a coffee shop & cake!! Our very own Sam's Cider are also expanding and we will soon see the addition of a dog grooming salon right here in the village!

We source as many of our welcome box items  as we can from local suppliers and I always love making new discoveries and thinking - oh now those would be lovely. We are please to welcome both Lorraine's Bakes and Springer Cottage Soaps to the Higher Primrose famalam :) Welcome ladies _ I know our guests will love you both (look out for the white chocolate & raspberry mini cupcakes and the lavender herb garden soaps...).
